Sambal Brinjal

Ingredients : 1 Long Brinjal (12")
2 Cloves Garlic (Chopped)
2 Shallot
2 Tablespoon Dry Shrimp

2 Teaspoon Balacan Powder
5pcs Dry Chili (Soak in hot water)
Sugar And Salt to taste
4 Tablespoon Olive Oil
Soy Source 1/2 Tablespoon


Direction :

1. Brinjal cut into 1 inch strips (As photo above)

2. Bring a pot of water to a boil.Place brinjal in the pot and cook until tender,the skin

colour turn into brown.Drain , and set aside.

3. Drain dry chili . Than add the dry shrimp,balacan powder,shallot ,dry chili and salt into blender, blend it.

4. Heat the wok , add in 4 tablespoon olive oil , add chopped garlic , stirring than add in

the sambal chili paste , continue stirring frequantly until fragrant.

5. Add soy source , sugar to taste.

6. Finally add in the brinjal, combine well.
